Agile Defense Receives $93.3 Million to Strengthen Marine Corps Digital InfrastructureAgile Defense has secured a series of contracts worth a combined $93.3 million to provide information technology and cyberspace support for the US Marine Corps.The largest award is valued at approximately $88 million and will be performed with CommIT Enterprises. The contract covers cyberspace services supporting the Marine Corps’ non-classified and secret Internet Protocol networks.These networks provide the digital foundation for a range of military activities, including communications, command functions, operational coordination, and deployment planning. Maintaining their reliability and security is therefore an important part of Marine Corps readiness.Agile Defense will also perform work under a separate $5.3 million contract supporting Marine Corps Installation West. MCIWEST oversees seven Marine installations on the US West Coast.The company has supported MCIWEST information technology requirements since 2016. Its responsibilities expanded in 2024 when cloud computing and specialized artificial intelligence solutions were added to the organization’s technology framework.The latest work will also involve the development of geospatial information systems. In addition, Agile Defense will deploy Microsoft SharePoint to support collaboration and strategic planning.These technologies are intended to improve how personnel access, organize, exchange, and use information. The modernization effort reflects the increasing dependence of military organizations on secure digital infrastructure.As military operations become more connected, cyber networks and information systems have become critical components of operational capability. The latest contracts will allow Agile Defense to continue supporting these systems while introducing newer digital technologies across Marine Corps installations.
