Blackhawk has won a significant contract to supply the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) with its modular Holster Carry System, strengthening Berlin’s ongoing effort to modernize individual soldier equipment. The agreement underscores growing demand within NATO militaries for adaptable, mission-configurable personal weapon carry solutions.

The Bundeswehr Holster Carry System is engineered to allow soldiers to mount their sidearms on the belt, chest rig, or thigh, offering flexibility across combat, training, and vehicle-based operations. Featuring quick-detach adapters, the system enables seamless compatibility with Blackhawk accessories as well as G-Code RTI components, supporting rapid reconfiguration in the field.

Manufactured in the United States, the system prioritizes durability, reliability, and operational adaptability, drawing on extensive real-world military and law enforcement experience. According to project partner Helmut Hofmann, the program represents a successful blend of American design expertise with German precision, supply-chain efficiency, and logistics support.

The contract was facilitated by Outdoor Marketing International, Blackhawk’s European agency, which leveraged local market knowledge and established defense relationships. The award aligns with Germany’s broader procurement trend, following recent contracts such as Rheinmetall’s large-scale tactical intercom framework, public tenders for standardized holsters for the HK SFP9-TR pistol, and continued investments in modular protective gear supplied by Mehler Protection to German special operations units.
