MSA Safety has landed a $33 million contract to provide advanced respiratory protection systems to the US Coast Guard. The agreement covers the delivery of the company’s G1 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), which will be deployed across the Coast Guard’s operational surface fleet and support centers. A $22 million initial order for these systems was already placed in the third quarter, according to the Pennsylvania-based manufacturer.
