Safran has introduced the JIM SHARPHAWK, the latest member of its JIM family of infrared binoculars, designed to replace the widely used JIM Compact model. The new system is aimed at delivering stronger operational capability for ground forces through improved optics and advanced sensor integration.

The SHARPHAWK provides a significant leap in performance, with Safran noting a 30 percent improvement in detection, recognition, and identification compared to its predecessor. This enhancement allows operators to better track and identify potential threats in both daylight and low-light conditions, where clarity is critical for mission success.

In addition to improved vision capability, the binoculars also feature advanced connectivity functions. By linking directly into tactical command-and-control networks, the SHARPHAWK enhances real-time information sharing, improving unit-level situational awareness and decision-making on the battlefield.
