Australian defense technology company DroneShield and Denmark’s Terma have entered into a strategic partnership to develop integrated counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities. The collaboration focuses on combining AI-based drone detection, electronic warfare systems, and command-and-control software into layered defense architectures capable of addressing evolving drone threats. The partnership emphasizes interoperability, sensor fusion, and scalable deployment across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. AI-enabled sensor fusion will merge data from multiple sensors to improve aerial threat identification and accelerate operational decision-making. The initiative also follows DroneShield’s expansion into Europe through its new Amsterdam headquarters serving NATO and EU markets.
