EDGE Group has partnered with the Brazilian Army to evaluate advanced small arms, including the CAR 816 assault rifle and CSR50 anti-materiel sniper rifle developed by its subsidiary Caracal. The trials will be conducted in high-intensity simulated combat environments to assess reliability, accuracy, and operational performance. The collaboration emphasizes knowledge transfer, training, and joint capability development. In parallel, EDGE has signed agreements with Indra and SIATT to establish radar production capabilities in Brazil, strengthening the country’s domestic defense industry and technological independence.
