The Indian Army is developing the Land Vectors Control and Coordination System (LVCCS), an indigenous digital battlefield network designed to automate and integrate land-based precision strike operations. The system will unify target detection, fire planning, strike execution, and battle damage assessment across artillery, missiles, rockets, drones, and loitering munitions. Inspired by operational lessons from Operation Sindoor in 2025, LVCCS aims to improve sensor-to-shooter coordination and reduce strike response times through real-time battlefield data integration. The platform will eventually connect with India’s broader tri-service C4I2 command architecture for network-centric warfare operations.
