On December 13, 2024, Saab announced it had received a contract from Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to supply Sea Giraffe 1X radar systems to the Swedish Navy. The deal, worth about SEK 340 million (EUR 29.5 million), covers both operational units and training configurations. The radars will be fitted onto naval vessels and used in training environments, with deliveries continuing through 2026.
