Elbit Systems Sweden has successfully conducted live trials of a 120-node digital battlefield network that connected soldiers, vehicles, sensors, drones, and command centers into a unified operational environment. The demonstration incorporated E-LynX software-defined radios, the Torch-X battle management system, and TIGER-X command-and-control architecture. Together, these technologies enabled real-time sharing of voice, video, and tactical data, significantly improving situational awareness, coordination, and decision-making across the force. The exercise highlights the growing importance of network-centric warfare and digital battlefield integration.
