India’s Ministry of Defence has contracted Accord Software and Systems to deliver Enhanced Capability Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) jammers for the Indian Navy. The indigenous system is designed to disrupt enemy navigation, targeting, and positioning capabilities through advanced jamming, spoofing, and deception techniques. With a high level of domestic content, the program aligns with India’s defense indigenization strategy while enhancing naval survivability in contested electromagnetic environments. The procurement forms part of a broader modernization effort focused on electronic warfare, precision guidance technologies, and next-generation battlefield systems.
