AM General and India’s Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited have formed a strategic partnership to market next-generation artillery platforms globally. The collaboration focuses on the Mounted Artillery Gun (MArG), a unique 155mm artillery system integrated onto a highly mobile 4×4 vehicle platform. Combining long-range firepower, rapid deployment capability, and operational flexibility, the system is designed for diverse combat environments. The partnership also positions the MArG as a potential contender for the US Army’s Mobile Tactical Cannon modernization program.
