Lithuanian company Altechna will participate in the EU-funded TALOS-TWO project to develop a 100-kilowatt laser weapon system—the first of its kind fully developed within Europe. With a €25 million ($27 million) budget, the initiative aims to create a directed-energy weapon for use on land, sea, and air platforms, offering improved targeting precision and effectiveness. Completion is targeted by 2030.
