Teledyne FLIR has significantly enhanced its advanced Ranger radar, delivering major gains in detection speed, range, and accuracy to support high-priority mission requirements.
The upgrades focus on the widely deployed R8-3DX and R20SS variants, key assets in border security, force protection, and counter-UAS operations.
The R8-3DX now provides full 360-degree coverage at up to 60 RPM, while the R20SS reaches 30 RPM, reducing reaction times and minimizing the radar’s overhead blind zone.
