Elbit Systems has secured two contracts worth a combined $260 million to supply advanced airborne munitions to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The announcement underscores the company’s role as a key supplier of next-generation precision weapons for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

While the specific munitions included in the contracts were not disclosed, Elbit’s extensive portfolio highlights several possibilities. Its well-known offerings include the GATR laser-guided 70-millimeter rocket, the MPR500 precision-guided munition, and the PULS artillery system designed for long-range precision strikes.

The company also produces the Rampage long-range air-to-surface missile and the SkyStriker loitering munition, both built to counter high-value battlefield targets. Each of these systems has been integrated into Israel’s evolving strike capabilities.

Elbit has previously delivered a wide range of precision munitions to the IDF, including the Iron Sting 120-millimeter guided mortar for urban warfare, the Lizard 3 laser-guided bomb kit, and the SPICE series of guided bombs designed for standoff, high-precision strikes.
