M-tron Industries has secured a two-year production contract valued at $20 million to deliver high-performance radio frequency (RF) components for a major US air defense program. The award reinforces the company’s role as a key supplier of mission-critical electronics supporting layered air and missile defense capabilities for the US military and allied forces.
Manufacturing work under the contract will be conducted at M-tron’s facility in Orlando, Florida, with production scheduled to continue through mid-2028. According to the company, the broader air defense program supported by these RF components is expected to remain active well beyond 2030, highlighting long-term demand driven by modernization efforts across US and allied defense networks.
M-tron’s RF portfolio includes advanced filters and clock oscillators used in precision-guided weapons, secure communications systems, radar and electronic warfare platforms, unmanned systems, and space-based applications. The latest contract builds on a series of previous awards, including a $5.5-million deal in mid-2025 to support a major US naval weapons system and a separate $3-million order for rugged RF filters for an established air defense program. In September 2025, the company also won a production contract for next-generation multi-domain data link RF components, a program projected to extend into the 2030s.
