US defense company SRC has secured a follow-on contract to deliver additional SR Hawk surveillance radars to Poland, further expanding Warsaw’s reconnaissance capabilities. Previously integrated into BWR-1D/S and AWR reconnaissance vehicles in partnership with WB Group, the radar provides detection and tracking of artillery fire, vehicles, personnel, and maritime targets. Its Fall-of-Shot capability integrates with WB’s TOPAZ fire-control system, enabling rapid targeting corrections and enhanced situational awareness. With more than 500 systems fielded globally, the SR Hawk supports Poland’s artillery reconnaissance modernization, complementing FlyEye UAV acquisitions and the procurement of 286 LOTR/Kleszcz reconnaissance vehicles equipped with advanced sensor masts.
