US defense technology company EagleNXT has announced a strategic investment in Israeli defense startup Aerodrome to strengthen its position in autonomous defense technologies and loitering munition systems. The agreement gives EagleNXT the option to form a joint venture with Aerodrome in the United States, pending regulatory approvals and final negotiations between both companies. Aerodrome specializes in advanced target recognition and autonomous decision-support systems designed to help unmanned platforms detect, identify, and track specific targets in complex operational environments. EagleNXT stated that the investment aligns with its strategy to expand its portfolio of autonomous drone systems, sensors, and software solutions used in defense, security, and industrial sectors. The partnership also reflects a broader global trend toward integrating sensing, autonomy, and precision strike capabilities in unmanned systems.
