RTX has unveiled its first aircraft radar warning receiver (RWR) equipped with artificial intelligence and machine learning features. This next-gen technology utilizes the company’s Cognitive Algorithm Deployment System (CADS), which allows the incorporation of AI/ML into existing RWR systems. By combining an embedded GPU with Deepwave’s computing architecture, the CADS enables real-time threat analysis directly at the sensor level—enhancing the system’s ability to identify, classify, and prioritize threats using cognitive methods.
