The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded CGI UK a £65 million ($84 million) contract to develop “Borealis,” a software platform aimed at improving command, control, and data handling for military satellite operations. The system will support the UK armed forces and space agency in monitoring and safeguarding national satellite assets.
