Thales has entered a strategic partnership with the UAE’s Tawazun Council to locally manufacture Ground Master air surveillance radars. Announced at the “Make it in the Emirates 2025” forum, the agreement aims to advance the UAE’s defense production capabilities and expand its footprint in global defense exports. A new facility for assembling, testing, and certifying the radars will be fully operational by 2027. The deal also broadens Thales’ existing Radar Centre of Excellence in the country, reinforcing the UAE’s push for high-tech defense development.
