Czech technology company Retia has integrated Axon Vision’s EdgeSA situational awareness suite into the Pandur 8×8 EVO armored personnel carrier, following a thorough and competitive evaluation. This selection marks a significant milestone in modernizing European armored combat vehicles with advanced electronic systems.
EdgeSA’s adoption for the Pandur EVO platform is expected to increase crew situational awareness, enhance threat detection, and boost vehicle survivability during high-intensity engagements. The system’s advanced sensory inputs and on-board analytics transform real-time environmental data into actionable intelligence for both drivers and commanders.
This partnership is part of a broader initiative by Retia, a subsidiary of Czechoslovak Group, to extend the use of next-generation electronic warfare and situational awareness technologies across additional European armored fleets. Collaborative ventures with Tatra Defence Vehicle (TDV) and other partners are aimed at standardizing high-performance digital systems and future-proofing allied armored capabilities.
