Leidos has been awarded a $454.9-million contract to support the modernization of the US Air Force’s Cloud One platform, which hosts and manages a wide range of military applications in secure cloud environments. Under this agreement, the company will collaborate with leading commercial cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The project focuses on improving cybersecurity protections, increasing automation across cloud operations, and simplifying the management of complex digital systems. By strengthening these capabilities, the Air Force will be able to move critical applications and operational data into secure cloud environments more efficiently while maintaining the protection of sensitive mission systems. The initiative is also expected to accelerate the deployment of digital tools for military personnel and improve service reliability across the force.
