India has introduced the Rajak ULR 50, an advanced electro-optical surveillance system designed to enhance intelligence and reconnaissance capabilities. The system leverages high-performance sensors to enable continuous monitoring in both day and night conditions, maintaining operational effectiveness across varying visibility environments. It is capable of detecting vehicles at distances exceeding 50 kilometers, identifying human movement beyond 40 kilometers, and tracking small drones at ranges greater than 10 kilometers. This technology significantly improves situational awareness and supports strategic defense operations by enabling early threat detection and response. The development of such systems reflects India’s growing focus on strengthening indigenous defense technologies and modernizing its surveillance infrastructure.
