India is developing a next-generation 4D AESA long-range radar using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. The system is expected to achieve detection ranges beyond 450 km and altitude coverage up to 40 km. It will also incorporate X-band capabilities for high-resolution tracking of modern threats such as drones, loitering munitions, and swarm systems. This initiative strengthens India’s early warning and surveillance infrastructure.
