Australian defense technology company Arkeus has raised 25 million Australian dollars in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered battlefield sensing systems for allied military markets. The company develops advanced sensor technology that enables autonomous platforms to detect, interpret, and react to battlefield conditions in real time. Its flagship Hyperspectral Optical Radar combines hyperspectral imaging with onboard AI to track targets across multiple operational domains. Arkeus claims the technology offers detection ranges up to eight times greater than traditional optical systems, making it valuable for contested and degraded combat environments.
