South Korea is expanding its adoption of artificial intelligence through a strategic partnership focused on integrating AI into command-and-control systems, autonomous platforms, cyber defense, logistics management, and battlefield decision-making. By combining agentic AI with edge computing and real-time operational data, the initiative seeks to improve decision speed, situational awareness, and coordination between manned and unmanned military assets. The collaboration also establishes a framework for close engagement with military personnel through a nationwide Defense AI Roadshow, allowing developers to evaluate operational challenges directly with service members while identifying practical applications for next-generation battlefield technologies.
