MATARIS: France’s Rapidly Developed Family of Remotely Operated Munitions
The MATARIS family includes four types of remotely operated munitions, developed at speed to address an urgent gap in French military capabilities. Each system is equipped with a specialized warhead from KNDS:

MT-10: Rotary-wing munition with a 10 km range.

MX-10 DAMOCLES: Quadcopter-wing system with a 10 km range.

MV-25 OSKAR: Fixed-wing munition with a 25 km range.

MV-100 VELOCE 330: Fixed-wing system with a 100 km range.

Developed in collaboration with drone specialists DELAIR and EOS TECHNOLOGIE, the MX-10 DAMOCLES is set to enter service with the French Army in July 2025 after being designed, tested, and qualified in just 12 months. It features a quadcopter frame by DELAIR and a fragmentation-incendiary warhead from KNDS Ammo France. The MX-10 can neutralize infantry, unarmored, and light armored vehicles.

The MV-25 OSKAR has already proven its effectiveness in Ukraine, progressing from development to frontline deployment in just two years under the French COLIBRI project.

For medium-range threats, KNDS teamed up with EOS TECHNOLOGIE to develop the MV-100 VELOCE 330, capable of speeds over 400 km/h, a 100 km range, and equipped with a 2.5 kg anti-armor warhead derived from BONUS shell technology. An operational test is scheduled for late 2025.

The MATARIS range is a secure, versatile, and rapidly deployable solution that positions KNDS, DELAIR, and EOS TECHNOLOGIE as key suppliers of French remotely operated munitions.
