Saab and Poland’s Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa have expanded defense cooperation focused on submarines, naval platforms, underwater systems, and future maritime technologies. The agreement includes plans for lifecycle support, export collaboration, underwater drone development, and exploration of heavyweight torpedo technologies. The companies also intend to establish an Underwater Technology Centre in Poland to strengthen domestic industrial capability and naval modernization efforts linked to the country’s Orka submarine program.
