Dynamatic Technologies is developing the Super-Cheel, a 2-tonne-class Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial system. Designed for ISR missions, the platform is expected to deliver up to 30 hours of endurance and carry advanced payloads including electro-optical/infrared sensors, synthetic aperture radar, and signals intelligence systems. It represents a significant step toward indigenous UAV capability, aligning with India’s requirement for long-endurance surveillance platforms. However, challenges remain in areas such as propulsion, sensor integration, and certification before operational deployment.
