Anduril Industries has partnered with Kraken Technology Group to develop a scalable family of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for the United States Navy. The collaboration emphasizes modular payload integration, long-endurance operations, and high-volume manufacturing aligned with distributed maritime operations doctrine. Anduril will handle US-based production of Kraken-designed K5 and K7 platforms while integrating its Lattice AI autonomy software, enabling mission adaptability across ISR, strike, and logistics roles. These USVs are engineered to carry payloads exceeding 1,000 pounds, sustain missions for up to 30 days, and reach operational ranges of up to 10,000 km in advanced configurations. The partnership builds on prior Kraken collaborations with United States Special Operations Command and BlueHalo, incorporating low-signature designs and AI-enabled autonomy. → This initiative reflects a major shift toward distributed, autonomous naval forces capable of persistent, scalable, and cost-efficient maritime operations across contested environments.
