The partnership between the United States Air Force and Netherlands on Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) represents a significant step in multinational integration of next-generation air combat systems. The initiative focuses on developing platform-agnostic, open-architecture autonomy, enabling seamless interoperability between allied air forces. By participating in the CCA program, the Netherlands gains early access to prototype systems and operational concepts, including integration with the F-35 Lightning II fleet.
