The UK has signed a strategic support agreement with General Atomics to provide long-term sustainment for the Royal Air Force’s Protector RG Mk1 UAVs.
Known as UK PASS, the contract covers logistics for the aircraft, training simulators, and remote control systems. This deal ties into the global SGSS framework, which supports other MQ-9B drone operators including India and Taiwan.
The SGSS model improves service delivery by collectively managing key logistics elements like staff, spare parts, and supply tracking.
