Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has received a $7-million production contract for a counter-unmanned aerial system designed to detect and classify aerial threats. The system is capable of identifying low-visibility drones and other airborne targets, including cruise missiles. The company has not revealed the customer or deployment location due to security considerations. The award reflects growing demand for technologies that can counter the increasing use of drones, loitering munitions, and missile threats by both state and non-state actors.
