Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $267-million contract to manufacture two more MQ-4C Triton unmanned aerial vehicles for the US Navy. The new drones are part of the service’s goal to field a total of 27 high-altitude ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) platforms. The contract also includes the establishment of a main operating base and necessary support services.
