Canadian defense company Draganfly is expanding its military drone portfolio through a deal worth up to $7.5 million to acquire assets from Skip Dynamix’s drone business. The agreement combines Draganfly’s AI-driven autonomy software with Skip Dynamix’s rapidly manufactured unmanned aerial systems. A major highlight is the addition of the Orca fixed-wing UAV, designed for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, logistics, and one-way strike missions. The acquisition strengthens Draganfly’s ability to provide cost-effective unmanned systems for NATO-aligned defense and security customers.
