DRDO and Kalyani Group have unveiled the latest generation of the Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP) 8×8, featuring substantial improvements in combat capability. The upgraded vehicle incorporates a 30mm autocannon, advanced fire-control systems, anti-tank missile integration, remote weapon stations, and enhanced situational awareness technologies. Combined with amphibious mobility and improved crew protection systems, the platform is designed to operate effectively across a wide range of conventional and asymmetric battlefield scenarios.
