Textron Systems has partnered with Louisiana-based defense engineering company Vivace International Corporation to provide critical components for the Cottonmouth Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program. The collaboration supports Textron’s April 2026 agreement with the US Marine Corps to deliver 16 pre-production vehicles designed to enhance expeditionary reconnaissance, mobile firepower, logistics, and C4UAS capabilities. The acquisition includes three systems integration laboratories and four blast hulls for testing and evaluation. Vivace will conduct manufacturing and integration activities at its aerospace and defense facilities located within NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. The company will apply advanced precision assembly and engineering expertise developed for modern land, air, and space systems. The partnership strengthens the Marine Corps’ modernization efforts while expanding domestic defense manufacturing capabilities and supporting regional economic growth.
