Germany’s Special Forces Command, known as the KSK, and Flensburg Technology Systems have introduced a new Light Airborne Tactical Vehicle called TAHR. The 3.2-ton (7,055-pound) platform is designed to carry a payload approaching its own vehicle weight, providing a high payload-to-weight capability for airborne tactical missions. TAHR is offered in two configurations intended for different operational requirements: a combat variant and a support version. The combat model is designed for a three-person crew and can be equipped with a variety of weapons. Available armament options include a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, an MG6 minigun, or a grenade launcher.
