Med-Eng, a subsidiary of Cadre Holdings, has secured contracts worth $86.4 million to supply blast-attenuation seating systems for Mowag Eagle armored vehicles produced by General Dynamics European Land Systems. The seats will be installed in Eagle V 4×4 command vehicles and Eagle V 6×6 ambulance variants. Designed to protect crews from mine blasts and improvised explosive devices, the seats reduce the impact forces generated by explosions beneath vehicles. Production is scheduled to begin in 2026 and continue through the end of the decade.
