The Royal Norwegian Navy has completed its acquisition of Patria’s SONAC ACS acoustic minesweeping systems, fulfilling a 2021 contract. The initial batch was delivered in early 2024, with the remaining units now received. These systems will replace the retired ELMA-AGATE sweep and are intended to enhance Norway’s naval mine countermeasure operations.
