Hanwha Systems has unveiled the Striker-S unmanned surface vessel (USV), a modular naval platform designed to expand the Republic of Korea’s future autonomous maritime warfare capabilities. Displayed at Eurosatory 2026, the vessel is engineered to operate alongside manned warships and command centers while supporting distributed naval operations. The Striker-S features a modular architecture capable of carrying containerized payloads weighing up to 10 tons, allowing rapid mission reconfiguration for reconnaissance, surveillance, electronic warfare, maritime security, or precision strike operations. Depending on mission requirements, the vessel can be equipped with advanced radar systems, guided missile launchers, or other mission-specific equipment. Its flexible design supports the growing trend toward unmanned-manned teaming, enabling naval forces to increase operational reach, reduce personnel risk, and improve mission effectiveness in contested maritime environments.
