Fincantieri and KAYO have formed a joint venture to develop Albania’s naval shipbuilding capacity. The partnership aims to construct up to 10 naval vessels by 2030 while revitalizing domestic production at the Pashaliman shipyard. Fincantieri holds a majority stake and will lead export projects, particularly in offshore patrol vessels. The initiative strengthens Albania’s defence industry and aligns with broader regional cooperation efforts, including joint procurement programs with neighboring countries.
