ST Engineering has launched RSS Valour (89), the second Victory-class Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) for the Republic of Singapore Navy. The vessel is part of a six-ship program designed to replace Singapore’s existing missile corvette fleet from 2028 onward. The MRCV is a highly networked naval platform capable of coordinating manned and unmanned assets across air, surface, and underwater domains. The 150-meter vessel includes helicopter facilities, drone support capabilities, advanced surveillance systems, and integrated combat technologies. Its weapons suite includes anti-ship, anti-air, and anti-submarine missile systems, along with a 30mm remote weapon station and 76mm guided naval gun. Powered by a full-electric propulsion system, the ship can achieve speeds exceeding 20 knots and operate up to 7,000 nautical miles. Before entering service, RSS Valour will complete combat system integration, acceptance trials, and crew training.
