Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics have partnered to pursue Romania’s unmanned ground vehicle program with a combination of wheeled and tracked robotic systems. The proposed solution includes Hanwha’s GRUNT and Arion-SMET unmanned vehicles alongside Milrem’s THeMIS platform for logistics, reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and combat support missions. The companies also conducted manned-unmanned teaming demonstrations near Bucharest, highlighting battlefield resupply, surveillance, and electronic warfare resilience capabilities.
