De Haas Shipyards has secured a contract to construct 13 new vessels for the Dutch Armed Forces, replacing the current Fast Raiding Interception and Special Forces Craft (FRISC). The upgraded boats will feature improved armament integration, communications, and sensor systems. They will also offer enhanced stealth capabilities and be outfitted with advanced hulls and seating to reduce crew fatigue in harsh conditions.
