Terma has entered into its largest regional naval contract in the Middle East and Africa through a partnership with Albwardy Damen. The agreement involves supplying a comprehensive package of mission-critical systems for a fleet of new naval vessels, strengthening Terma’s presence in one of its fastest-growing markets. The deal reflects the company’s commitment to advancing maritime defense capabilities in the region with state-of-the-art technologies.

The package includes Terma’s C-Flex Tactical Mission System, SCANTER 6002 Radar, and the C-Guard Decoy Launching System. These systems are designed to improve naval forces’ situational awareness, resilience in combat, and overall operational performance. While SCANTER radars have already been deployed on select ships within the region, this contract represents the first large-scale rollout of Terma’s integrated naval systems portfolio across the MEA market, underscoring growing trust in the company’s defense solutions.

Construction of the new naval vessels will be managed by Albwardy Damen, a shipbuilder partially owned by the globally recognized Damen Shipyards Group. Known for their innovation and quality in shipbuilding, Albwardy Damen brings extensive expertise that complements Terma’s advanced defense technology. Together, the collaboration aims to deliver mission-ready naval platforms capable of meeting the modern challenges faced by regional navies.

This milestone contract aligns with Terma’s strategic vision to expand its global reach through localized partnerships and tailored solutions. By combining cutting-edge technology with trusted regional shipbuilding, Terma is positioning itself as a long-term defense partner for MEA nations seeking advanced maritime security capabilities.
