Indra has secured a contract to expand its role in the Type 212CD submarine program by equipping six additional submarines with advanced electronic warfare and radar systems. This brings the total number of submarines under its scope to 12. The submarines, jointly developed by Germany and Norway, feature air-independent propulsion and are optimized for North Atlantic missions. The program involves key partners such as TKMS, Kongsberg, Atlas Elektronik, and HENSOLDT. Integration with the ORCCA combat management system enhances operational awareness and combat readiness in complex maritime environments.
