DRDO has unveiled new tracked and wheeled armoured platforms developed to meet modern battlefield requirements. These vehicles feature a 30 mm crewless turret integrated with anti-tank missile capability, supported by a 7.62 mm machine gun. Designed for high mobility, they include powerful engines, automatic transmission, and amphibious capability with hydro jets. With STANAG Level 4 and 5 protection, they provide strong resistance against ballistic and blast threats. The modular design allows multi-role deployment, while indigenous content currently stands at 65% with plans to reach 90%. Developed with Tata Advanced Systems and Bharat Forge, these platforms strengthen India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem and improve operational flexibility across combat environments.
