Damen Shipyards has handed over the PNS Yamama, the fourth Yarmook-class offshore patrol vessel, to the Pakistan Navy during a ceremony in Constanta, Romania. The project, initiated in 2020, culminated with the ship’s launch in 2024. The vessel will support maritime operations such as counter-piracy and securing sea lanes critical to Pakistan’s trade.
