The UAE’s EDGE Group will supply eight Falaj-3 class patrol vessels to Kuwait under a newly signed contract valued at $2.45 billion.
The package includes full turnkey support—from vessel design, construction, and testing, to logistics and long-term maintenance services. The deal underscores growing defense collaboration within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
This follows a previous contract under which EDGE agreed to modernize existing Kuwaiti naval assets and train Kuwaiti military personnel, further reinforcing bilateral defense cooperation in a geopolitically volatile region.
